Learn basic wheel-throwing techniques or take your skills to the next level with ceramicist Emily Armstrong. All 8-week classes include 25 lbs of cone 6 clay, studio glaze and slips, bisque and glaze firing, and open studio time.

Bring: apron or towel, notebook, pen/pencil

Tools: A Kemper Pottery Tool Kit is recommended or your own throwing tools if you have them. Artist & Craftsman and Michael’s both typically have these tools.

Fee includes one starter 25# bag of Laguna 65 white clay. Additional bags will be available for purchase.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Emily Armstrong grew up on Long Island, New York. She attended Mount Sinai High School. Since then she has attended the Maine College of Art where her love for ceramics and drawing have grown stronger. In 2015 she received her Bachelors in Ceramics. Emily Armstrong is currently working as a resident artist at Running With Scissors in Portland Maine.
