Fall Folk Festival

Fall Folk Festival

The Maine Highlands Council for the Arts is pleased to announce the return of the Fall Folk Festival, after a three-year hiatus. The Festival has the best elements of a quality craft fair, along with showcases and demonstrations by the vendors and craftspeople who are participating. Among the vendors will be woodworkers, maple syrup producers, fiber arts, stone sculptures by Penobscot sculptor Tim Shay, and much more.

There will be live music throughout the day, from the local ukulele club to Gypsy Soul Blues, Argentine tango and traditional Korean dance. Roberta Jarvis will present the Piscataquis County Song as well! The evening will feature the headline group, New Relm, with their beloved blend of country and western style music.

Home -baked goods, chili (both meat and vegetarian options) and coffee, tea and cider will be available for sale.
