On Sat., Nov. 9th, the Jonesboro Union Church Auxiliary will hold their annual Harvest Craft Fair in the Chandler River Community Center next to the Church on the Look's Point Road in Jonesboro from 9:00-1:00. The Harvest Craft Fair will feature unique items for your early Christmas shopping pleasure! This year's Harvest Fair features Acadia Carvers, Yarn It Up, Gaia Glass Jewelry, Earthly Suds Co., Jolene's Originals, handmade Christmas ornaments, lighted pinecone baskets, decorative rope baskets, shotgun shell Christmas wreaths (perfect for all those hunters), teacher appreciation wreaths, and Linda Snowdeal's wood slice snowmen porch decor. The Auxiliary will also be taking orders for Christmas wreaths. Lunch & church lady goodies (lots of fudge and pies as well as other baked goods) will be available. Proceeds of the Harvest Fair will be used to support the financial needs of the Jonesboro Union Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Buildings for the State of Maine and to support the Jonesboro Warming Center which will be open from December through March.
