The outstanding classical musicians of the Heifetz International Music Institute are coming back to Georgetown! The Heifetz Institute musicians were regular visitors before the pandemic and we are so thrilled that they are returning to the Midcoast with new musicians and playing in multiple venues!

With the generous support of the Georgetown Island Education Foundation, performers from the Heifetz Institute, the highly regarded string instruction program and accompanying festival in Staunton, VA, return to Maine for a four-day residency in MidCoast Maine featuring a series of school and outreach events culminating in public concerts Tuesday, May 14 at St. Andrews Church in Newcastle, Wednesday May 15 at Grey Havens Inn and a cabaret style concert Thursday May 16 at the Robinhood Free Meetinghouse.

Grey Havens Concert: A lovely concert in our salon featuring a full string quartet and concert pianist playing our 1920s era Chicago-born baby grand piano! The program will include works from Kreisler, Paganini, Debussy, Zimbalist and Sarasate as well as Schumann's Piano Quintet in E Flat. This is a very special opportunity to enjoy classical music as it was appreciated back in the day! Our fabulous bartender, Richard, will be on hand to prepare you one of the Inn’s delicious signature cocktails starting at 6 PM. The concert will begin at 7 PM.
