Joy of Watercolor 6-week Artist Series
Starts Monday, January 22nd (Mondays from 1:30PM-4:30PM for six weeks.)
NOTE: Masks are required in this series.
Each week, class will dive into one aspect of watercolor painting. Color, water to pigment ratios, composition, brush strokes and value. In the beginning of each session, students will complete several exercises on the daily topic, and then move on to their individual painting project where they will focus on the skills we have just learned. Class is appropriate for all levels.
NOTE: If a class needs to be skipped during this session, a make-up date will be added at the end of the series.

Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.
About the instructor: Deena S. Ball is a nationally renowned landscape painter known for her innovative use of watercolor in combination with a textured ground and specialized surfaces. She received her BA in Art history and Studio Art from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and continued her studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of Art and Tyler School of Art. Deena’s work is exhibited extensively throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, and can be found in issues of Watercolor Artist and the annual publications of the watercolor book, Splash. Deena’s work is primarily landscapes with many of her paintings done on location outside. Learn more at www.deenasball.com.
