Chords For Kids is a cornerstone event for the Maine Academy of Modern Music (MAMM). This showcase features the remarkable talents of MAMM student musicians and also hosts an awards ceremony honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to music education in Maine. Last year over 30 bands performed!

Chords For Kids also serves as a source of funding for MAMM's extensive scholarship program, which supports three out of every four students participating in our programs. This translates to over 1,500 aspiring musicians receiving financial assistance annually, dismantling economic barriers, and ensuring that music education remains accessible to Maine children.

This year, MAMM is excited to offer raffle tickets for a trip for two to the 2025 Grammy Awards in LA including airfare and accommodations as part of our fundraising efforts...Tickets can be purchased at the show!

Tickets are $20. Thanks to generous foundation support, music teachers and people under the age of 18 get in free.
