Lake Stewards of Maine and Maine Lakes are co-sponsoring a day of learning, networking, and fun at the China Lake Conference Center on June 17th from 8:30 am to 4 pm.

Keynote speaker will be Tony Sutton, University of Maine, Assistant Professor, who will discuss "Restoring Wabanaki Ways of Knowing in Water Restoration."

Afternoon sessions and workshops will include presentations on cyanobacteria, native plants, fisheries, mercury, loons, a plant paddle, and more. Boat tours of China Lake will be offered by the China Lake Association, the local host of the conference.

There will be a silent auction loaded with great items for any lake lover and there will be a door prize of a full kayak package, valued at $1,000, donated by L. L. Bean. All attendees will be included but must be present to win.
