Wild Seed Project Fall Native Plant Sale

Wild Seed Project Fall Native Plant Sale
For ten years now, Maine non-profit Wild Seed Project has been empowering people to take on ecological restoration one backyard, school garden, meadow and apartment stoop at a time. We connect people with native plants and the knowledge to grow them – and one of our favorite ways to do this is at our annual plant sale!
Held every year in early fall, at our Native Seed Center in Cape Elizabeth, the plant sale is an opportunity to buy a diverse array of native wildflowers, shrubs and trees – all grown from seed for resilience, biodiversity and beauty.
This year’s sale is Saturday, September 7, 9 to 4, and Sunday, September 8, 9 to 4. Saturday is our Members Only Day. Every year, our nursery is growing and we add more and more plants. Still, we can't keep up with the demand! Only members will be able to shop Saturday. In previous years, members have scooped up about 75% of our stock during the members-only period. What doesn't sell Saturday will be available to the general public on Sunday, regardless of membership status.
Attendance at the plant sale requires registration, due to limited parking. Registration opens August 15.
