Scottish Country Dance is the ballroom dance of Scotland, done in longwise sets of several couples. We meet weekly to learn and enjoy the dances. All dances are taught. We recommend soft soled, flexible shoes. Bring a water bottle. There is a beginner/preview session at 5 p.m. by request. Note, we do not dance during the month of December.

Jan 03 Saturday
Two hours. Warm water. Collective care. Permission to be exactly who you are.
Join us for a soulful-somatic evening in 92-degree saltwater. This is ceremonial playfulness: structured enough to feel safe, spacious enough to surprise yourself.
We'll move slowly, like seaweed swaying. Float in the warmth. Solo exploration. Partner play. Group connection. Gentle movement and sacred requests. Freedom and belonging.
In this womb-like warmth, less is more. Slowness is power. Softness is strength. We hold each other and are held. This is a space to remember: your body is wise, your desires matter, and you belong exactly as you are.Limited to 9 women because some magic only happens in small circles.

An invitation to rest, move, and remember what your body already knows. Step into 92-degree saltwater and experience two complementary practices designed for restoration and exploration.
Float (12-12:45pm) invites you into supported stillness—held by warm water, infused with Reiki. A non-verbal sanctuary for deep rest and presence. Optional meditation prompts. A space to simply be.
Flow (12:45-1:30pm) opens into gentle, intuitive movement. Listen to your body's wisdom, explore the water, discover what wants to emerge. Slowness and stillness welcome. Personal discovery with collective care. Nose plugs available.
Calling musicians of all levels! Please come and join us on the second Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 pm for a community - based open mic session. All levels and musical genres are welcome as are individuals, duos, groups, whatever. Mixed Level Belly Dance:
Authentic Belly Dance, or raks sharqi, is an ancient form of dance. Raks sharqi means “dance of the east” in Arabic. Belly dance celebrates every body type and every stage of life. The dance is proud and powerful and soft and sinewy with elegant and isolating movements emanating from the core. It’s the Pilates of dance. And so much fun! In this Mixed Level (Beginner through Intermediate/Advanced) class, we will work with improvisation and group choreography, as well as continually working with subtleties of technique at whatever level you are.
Please wear comfortable clothing, similar to what you might wear to a yoga class that will allow for free movement and the ability to see your movement. Hip scarves make it even more fun. You can dance barefoot or in a pair of comfortable dance shoes. Zils (finger cymbals) and veils will also be used in class and are available for purchase from the instructor.
