This is the 16th season of Concerts at Norcross Point, a free concert series on the shores of Maranacook Lake. This year's schedule is as follows:

Parking is free but limited, public restrooms available, bring a flotation device or anchor your boat offshore and join the flotilla!

Do you like Irish music? Do you enjoy dancing? Do you like to laugh? We do all three! You are invited to an Irish Set Dance Pop Up Class on November 16th at 1:30-3:30pm. Class will be held at the Dane Street Program Center in Kennebunk.

Irish "Set" dancing is not Irish Step dancing (Riverdance type dancing). Set dancing is a little like square dancing with eight people forming a square and dancing figures that make up a set.
Sue Dunlavey of Seacoast Set Dancers will be instructing & calling the dances.

Show dates are November 14, 15, 21, 28, 29, 2025 at 7:30pm + November 16, 22, 23, 30, 2025 at 2pm

Based on the timeless and beloved film, White Christmas follows Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis, who have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. White Christmas is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages.

The Squirrels is a tragi-comical epic of prejudice and greed among squirrels living in a very divided tree.

The First Congregational Church of Camden, on Sunday, November 16, at 2:00 pm, will host the showing of the award-winning film “Dawnland,” A Documentary About Cultural Survival and Stolen Children - The Story of the Maine Wabanaki-State Child Welfare Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC).

"In Maine, a historic investigation—the first government-sanctioned truth and reconciliation commission in the United States—begins a bold journey. For over two years, Native and non-Native commissioners travel across Maine. They gather testimony and bear witness to the devastating impact of the state’s child welfare practices on families in Maliseet, Micmac, Passamaquoddy and Penobscot tribal communities. Collectively, these tribes make up the Wabanaki people." - Adam Mazo / Ben Pender-Cudlip, filmmakers

The feature-length documentary Dawnland follows the TRC to contemporary Wabanaki communities to witness intimate, sacred moments of truth-telling and healing. With exclusive access to this groundbreaking process and never-before-seen footage, the film reveals the untold narrative of Indigenous child removal in the United States.

A discussion will follow the film and will include Esther Anne, Passamaquoddy and Penthea Burns, non-Native.Both are among the founders of the truth commission and Wabanaki REACH. Carol Wishcamper, who was the co-chair of the truth commission will also join the panel discussion. "If we can work together in that good way [for the truth commission], in a system of mutual respect, to work for our children, then I think we can work together in anything because nothing is more sacred than our children.” - Esther Anne, founder, Wabanaki REACH

Pride and Prejudice explores themes of pride, prejudice, social class, and the complexities of love, highlighting the struggles of overcoming initial misunderstandings and societal expectations. Finding a husband is hardly Elizabeth Bennet’s most urgent priority. But with four sisters, an overzealous match-making mother, and a string of unsuitable suitors, it’s difficult to escape the subject. When the independent-minded Elizabeth meets the handsome but enigmatic Mr. Darcy, all feelings of attraction are muted by his pride and her prejudice. As their worlds keep colliding, their attraction increases. But they first must overcome their own weaknesses and many other obstacles before the most famous courtship in history can begin.

Dickens’s Christmas fairytale offers a message of hope and redemption.
Rich miser Ebenezer Scrooge hates Christmas and all it entails. On Christmas Eve, spirits appear and take Scrooge to see poignant scenes from his past, joyful holiday celebrations in the present, and horrifying future events. In response, Scrooge changes his life to embody the holiday spirit all year round.

"Becky Nurse of Salem" is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc.

Inspiration comes in all forms—whether it’s the sounds of a neighborhood, a different style of music, or even stories from over one thousand years ago.

Inspired by the tales of One Thousand and One Nights, Scheherezade takes its name from the legendary heroine who spins adventurous tales to keep the attention of a murderous Sultan and save her life. From those stories springs Rimsky-Korsakov’s symphonic narrative of fairy-tale wonders.

Kicking off the concert is an aural homage to New York’s multicultural palette by modern composer Jessie Montgomery. Also featured on the program is Ravel’s lighthearted and brilliant Piano Concerto with its clear influences from blues and jazz, brought to life by pianist Clayton Stephenson’s joyous charisma and natural ease.

Presented in partnership with The Telling Room, this concert will feature poems from Telling Room students inspired by the works being performed.
