True North Theatre would like to invite you and your family to travel with us past the second star to the right, straight on ‘til morning, and into the magical realm of Neverland!

And in celebration of our tenth (!) year of bringing high quality theatre productions to the community we love, we are proud to present TINKER BELL as a Pay-What-You-Wish performance. More than anything, we would like you there to experience the joy of live theatre and journey with us to that place we left behind but carry in our hearts: the Neverland of childhood play.

TINKER BELL by Patrick Flynn is a fresh and intensely theatrical adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic story, Peter Pan, and brought to life by director D. Granke. Exploring the complicated nature of friendship, the stand-out cast of TINKER BELL will draw you and your family into the whimsical and childlike world of Neverland. You may think you know the story of Peter Pan – come experience it from a surprising perspective.

Performances run Fridays, January 9th and 16th at 7:00PM, Saturdays, January 10th and 17th at 2:00PM and 7:00PM and Sundays, January 11th and 18th at 2:00pm at the Cyrus Pavilion Theatre on the UMaine campus in Orono. Acoustic Sunshine is a Maine-based duo featuring upright bassist Kevin Roy & acoustic guitarist Jeff Kilton. Since 2021, they've been bringing good vibes with covers from artists like Jack Johnson, Dave Matthews, Sublime, Tom Petty, Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones, & more. With over 30 years of playing together, Kevin & Jeff guarantee an entertaining show. All ages. Free admission. Join us for an evening of chorale art exploring what all music is ultimately about: Life and Death. This is music that confronts our deepest sorrows, celebrates our brightest hopes, and reminds us what it means to be alive. It's a great way to stay in shape!

Coastal Chorale was founded in 2023 and has quickly grown in popularity in southern Maine. This auditioned community choir strives to showcase the corners of choral music so that it is accessible to all audiences.

Becky Longacre is not a comedian. She has never taken a "comic class" in all of her life. She does, however, love to engage an audience and can laugh at her own life story of sickness, weight gain and mental health recovery. Will you laugh with her? Will you laugh at her? Either way, it is Becky's hope that you will laugh.

Steve is a coach who helps clients reach their full potential—focused on happiness, health, wealth, healing, and wholeness—primarily serving business professionals, entrepreneurs, CEOs, and executives. He offers a 1–3 month coaching program built around his U.S.-registered process, The Game of Ten®. With more than 30 years of experience as a business owner, he grew his family floral business from $200K to $2M in annual sales before transitioning into coaching. He holds coaching certifications from the Gestalt International Study Center (2015) and Miracle Minded Coaching with Marianne Williamson (2021). In 2021, he co-authored a best-selling parenting and psychology book with his son titled The Father, The Son, And the AHA Moment, developed with guidance from Marianne Williamson. Based in the Greater Portland, Maine area, Steve draws on personal resilience from overcoming significant childhood challenges and channels that perspective into helping others break through trauma and limiting beliefs.

Tour-goers must be 21 or older. Infant-wearing is welcome - the tour path through our manufacturing plant is not suitable for young children or strollers.

Guests who are not drinking beer can purchase a Designated Driver ticket and will have a choice of NA beverage.

Dogs are not allowed on this manufacturing plant tour.

Come and experience one of the classic early D&D adventure modules. Explore a branching, non-linear, reactive dungeon inhabited by multiple factions and loot their stuff ! Utilizing Basic D&D for simple character creation and a rules light approach.

Casual drop-in/drop-out play — come when you can!
No RPG experience necessary!

Join your neighbors and meet new friends at the Surry Contra Dance!

Community Dance 6pm - 7pm
This fun and friendly dance for all ages is led by Bagaduce Music with support by the Open Band (open to all musicians, instruments & skill levels). Show up 15 minutes early to get situated if you’d like to play with us! There's no admission charge for the community dance, but donations are very welcome.

Contra Dance 7pm - 10pm
Contra dance is easy to learn since all dances are taught. Everyone is welcome to dance, regardless of age or dancing ability! There's no need to bring a partner either!
The cost is sliding scale, $15-$25 suggested, under 18s pay 1/2 their age. This dance helps support the Arbutus Grange.

The Surry School Auditorium is at 754 North Bend Rd, Surry. Just 6 miles outside of Ellsworth. Chem-free event.

Every 2nd Saturday of the month in Surry at 6pm!

Musicians, singers, storytellers, poets and all other entertainers are invited to take the stage at this all-ages evening. Share your talents or just drop by and support the folks who come to perform. A fun and kind audience is the warmest welcome anyone could ask for. Join us at 6:30pm upstairs in Mallett Hall, 429 Hallowell Rd (Rt.9) at Pownal Center. There's always snacks and something to drink on hand but bring your own coffee or tea if you prefer something hot. If you need a lift up to the second floor, there is a small elevator in the lobby to help you get up to the performance space.
