Game night, every Sunday in Surry. We play new & old board games, card games, dice games, word games, tile games, team games... bring your favorites! Everyone welcome.
$2/person goes to the community center.
Led by an expert caller and fun for dancers of any age or ability, our contra barn dances are the perfect community event!
Beginners, or those new to contra dance, are invited to come early for a lesson from 6:30pm to 7pm, with dances running from 7pm to 9pm. No experience needed! The dance occurs inside our historical 19th century barn, with concessions available. Folks are invited to come early to picnic on our beautiful lawn.
All dances are $15 per person with youth under 12 are free.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance online.

The Arts Festival is excited to fill the summer air of Prescott Park with catchy songs from this modern hit musical based on the classic book and films.
Boston-based Couch fuses pop, funk, soul, and rock in a joyful, high-energy performance that’s sure to get the crowd moving.
Their eponymous first album – featuring the Norman Rockwell/Saturday Evening Post cover that introduced fans to PPL’s trademark cowpoke “Sad Luke” – has been hailed as a “major early influence in the emerging popularity of Country-Rock music”. Now in their sixth decade, Pure Prairie League continues to lead the way for the new generation of Country/Rockers such as Keith Urban, Nickel Creek, Wilco, Counting Crows and so many others that cite PPL as a major influence. A perfect way to round out the July 4th weekend!
