Held every Thursday from 4–7pm, the Local Goods Market features hot food, beverages, baked goods, and specialty products from Fork Food Lab members and other Maine makers. The weekly event offers the community a chance to support local businesses, discover new favorites, and connect directly with the entrepreneurs shaping the future of Maine’s food economy. Join us at Cellardoor Winery for a sneak peek at the exciting exhibits planned for the first phase of the Maine State Museum's Grand Reopening in 2026!
Guests will learn about the museum’s brand-new exhibits, displays, and offerings slated for 2026, and what to expect in future phases of the museum’s reopening. The presentation will begin between 4:45 and 5:00 p.m. and complimentary light refreshments will be served.
PLUS: There will also be a cash bar so you can sample Cellardoor’s award-winning wine, and tours of the scenic vineyard will be offered on a first-come, first-serve basis after the presentation.
Flatbread Company is hosting a 'Community Bake: Pizza With A Purpose" fundraiser to benefit Maine Friends of Animals (MFOA), Maine's leading animal protection advocacy organization. From 5-9pm on Tuesday, September 30th a portion of all small and large flatbread orders will be donated to MFOA. Come on down to Flatbread Company at 72 Commercial Street in the Old Port and enjoy delicious flatbread, connect with friends and neighbors, and help make a difference for Maine's animals! NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session educational program for family and friends of adults living with mental health conditions.
When you participate in NAMI Family-to-Family, you will gain information and strategies for taking care of the person you love. You’ll also learn that you’re not alone. The group setting of NAMI Family-to-Family provides mutual support and shared positive impact from people who understand your situation.
This helpful program is a designated evidence-based program. This means that research shows that the program significantly improves the coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to a person with a mental health condition.
NAMI Family-to-Family is taught by NAMI-trained family members who have been there and includes presentations, discussions, and interactive exercises.
