Seamlessly blending illusion, acrobatics, magic, and whimsy, MOMIX sends audiences flying down the rabbit hole in Moses Pendleton’s newest creation, ALICE, set to take the stage at Sanford Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7.
Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic "Alice in Wonderland," the show is a mind-bending adventure, as Alice encounters time-honored characters including the undulating Caterpillar, a lobster quadrille, frenzied White Rabbits, a mad Queen of Hearts, and a variety of other surprises. “I don’t intend to retell the whole Alice story” Pendleton says, “but to use it as a taking off point for invention.”
Filled with visual splendor and startling creative movement, Alice reveals that nothing in MOMIX’s world is as it seems!

Great Falls Comedy Club presents Mark Riley, featuring Leonard Kimble and host Annie Perley!
Mark Riley was born and raised in Boston (yes, he can sort of pronounce his “r’s”) and is one of the most-booked comedians in New England. His high energy and unique perspective on everyday situations combined with his sharp observational humor keeps audiences in stitches. His material is always changing so you’ll never see the same show twice. He connects with audiences in a unique way and is fearless to hecklers! Mark performs at comedy clubs and is available for fundraisers, corporate/private events, roasts, and will emcee or host your event. Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly show, PG-13, or R rated, (he draws the line at X rated) he will deliver laughter. Here are his upcoming shows. Lastly, Mark has starred in commercials and is available for voice work. He has also been interviewed for the podcast Behind the scenes of a comedian on Spotify.
Mark is a co-host for Chirping Zebras, a hockey podcast from the referees perspective. It drops weekly on YouTube, subscribe and hear tales from the ice. Mark fine-tuned his comedic talents in various coliseums and “ice barns” throughout the country when he traveled as a professional ice hockey referee. He was a stellar employee of the NHL for one whole week before he was fired. It was at that moment Mark realized he was better on stage rather than the ice. Mark co-authored the movie script “Penalty Box” based on his life in pro hockey. He is currently publishing his first book and has many television appearances including NESN and Dirty Water TV. And to further impress you, he was a finalist in the 2016 Boston Comedy Festival.
Join us at the Great Falls Comedy Club, 34 Court St, Auburn, ME, inside Craft Brew Underground, voted "Maine's Best Beer Bar".
Free covered parking.
Ages 18+, Seating at 7:00pm! Cash bar and food available at 4pm.

This American Legion Post #36 Breakfast Buffet has been a tradition spanning many years now. Aside from a few minor unforeseen and unavoidable changes, most everything else remains the same. All who enter the Legion Hall doors on a Breakfast Buffet Sunday, will get a great meal for a fair price/donation, get to see old friends and/or family, or meet someone interesting for the first time. The menu items have satisfied many folks over the years, and I have no doubt that this year will be no different. So come and enjoy the Legion Buffet Breakfast this season, enjoy the food, enjoy the camaraderie, and learn how you (Yes, You) can play a key role in this year's breakfast season - or next year's season. There are a number of very important people who make these breakfasts a success each year, if you have any interest in becoming a volunteer or member of the breakfast crew - ask for the least important person in the mix (Christopher) when you arrive for breakfast. These breakfast buffets take place every other Sunday starting on April 2, 2025.
