The famous Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival returns to the Gracie this year. With different films on each night, the festival runs for two nights, with a discount offered for those who choose both! The Banff Film Festival is one of the largest and most prestigious mountain festivals in the world! Traveling to remote vistas, analyzing topical environmental issues, and bringing audiences up-close and personal with adrenaline-packed action sports, the 2026 World Tour is an exhilarating and provocative exploration of the mountain world.

Prince Memorial Library and Tuttle Road Community Church present an early evening of music and community -- a great opportunity to hear local performers flex their skills or try out new pieces for an audience.
For new performers, this is a relaxed and fun opportunity to become comfortable performing live in front of an audience. For seasoned performers, come try out new or established material and join an enthusiastic music community!

The three-time Tony Award winning laugh riot Lend Me A Tenor follows the misadventures of Max and the Cleveland Grand Opera company. After preparing a lovely reception for Il Stupendo, the greatest tenor of his generation, for a one-night only performance in Pagliacci Max finds his star on the verge of death, the theatre in potential ruins, and worst of all his fiance has a thing for tenors! As Max dons the makeup to stand in for Il Stupendo, hilarity and mischief ensue.

Who Should Attend?

This program is designed for Maine-based female entrepreneurs at any stage of their business journey.

From February 2nd to February 14th, create a Valentine’s Day card at the Lewiston Public Library! Free supplies and crafting space will be available for adults on the 2nd floor and for children on the 3rd floor.

A visual exhibition, " Outside In" with Judith Allen-Efstathiou’s work including copper sculptures made from reused, vintage copper from the Maine as well as cyanotypes, lithographs and drawings.
For First Friday October 3 and November 7th from 5- 7:00pm the artist will be at the gallery and is happy to discuss her work with visitors
The exhibition runs until November 20 and is open 24/7
on the lower level of the Press Hotel below reception.

Portland’s First Friday Art Walk is a free self-guided tour of art galleries, art studios, museums, and alternative art venues on the first Friday of every month from 5-8pm. Its mission is to open the doors of Portland’s visual arts community by joining together and introducing a wider audience to the unique vitality of the artists and venues of Portland, promoting interest with non-exclusivity and easy-access, thereby strengthening the arts and community through diversity and celebration.
