Johnny Ouch, 20, was arrested in connection with the May 25 shooting death of Treyjon Arsenault, 19.

PORTLAND, Maine - A Westbrook man has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of a teenager at a Portland recording studio in May.

At a press conference this afternoon, Portland Police Chief Michael Sauschuck said Johnny Ouch, 20, was arrested this morning on East Valentine Street in Westbrook. He's accused of killing Treyjon Arsenault, 19, who was fatally shot at Da Block Studios at 371 Fore Street in Portland's Old Port around midnight on May 25.

Arsenault was among a group of people at the recording studio when the shooting occurred. Another victim, who has not been identified, sustained injuries that authorities said were not life-threatening.

Sauschuck would not speculate on a motive for the shooting. He said Ouch is being held without bail at the Cumberland County Jail, pending an initial court appearance. A date for that has not yet been released.
