Maine Warden Service Probes 3 Illegal Moose Kills

HOULTON, Maine - The state Warden Service is investigating three illegal moose kills in far northern Maine during the moose hunting season.

Officials say the three moose were shot and left on the ground in early November.

One moose was killed Nov. 3 on Sullivan Road in T16 R5 and authorities believe a male and female traveling in a red pickup truck were involved.

Another moose was killed on Nov. 4 on Stockholm Road in Township T17 R3. The third moose was shot the same day off Madore Road in Hamlin.
