WELLS, Maine — Almost two dozen people are searching for two horses that disappeared after a storm knocked down a fence on a Wells farm.
The horses, named Spot and Bailey, escaped from Canticle Farm on Sunday.
They were last seen about 3 p.m. Sunday on Wire Road.
The search resumed on Monday.
WMTW-TV is reporting the horses' owner is asking for volunteers who would like to help should bring cross country skies or snowshoes.
Wells received nearly a foot and a half of snow during the weekend storm.
