Gorham High School Assistant Principal Charged With Drunken Driving

GORHAM, Maine - An assistant principal at a Maine high school has been arrested on a drunken driving charge.

The Portland Press Herald reports that 61-year-old Kimberly Slipp was arrested June 22 in Sebago after hitting a parked SUV and a utility pole.

Slipp has been assistant principal at Gorham High School for 12 years.

School officials say she has not been placed on administrative leave because school is out for summer. The superintendent says they will investigate the accusations before deciding on any potential discipline.

Slipp could not be reached for comment.
