Democrat Mike Michaud concedes the race, as he addresses supporters at Port City Music Hall in Portland.

At this hour, Michaud is conceding the race to LePage.

For weeks, polls have indicated a tight race, and that's what returns have confirmed: With 62 percent of precincts reporting, LePage has 48 percent of the vote to Michaud's 44 percent. Independent candidate Eliot Cutler has just over 8 percent.
