317 Main Presents: Arcadia Band & Nick Prato

Live+Local showcases the music of local singer-songwriters Doug Kolmar, Janice O’Rourke, and Nick Prato. Although their respective bands have their own styles, they share a common folk-Americana thread, which fans of the genre will recognize and enjoy. In keeping with the Americana genre, Arcadia Band blends elements of folk, rock, and bluegrass in a style that is uniquely their own. At Live+Local, Arcadia Band will be joined by 317 Teaching Artists Mitch Reed on fiddle, and Joe Beninati on drums!

Nick Prato’s first EP, All the Space, will be released on October 13. It features six of Nick’s latest tracks, all of which he recorded and produced. EarToTheGround Music blog (2023) described All the Space this way, “Simultaneously confident and intimate…I think fans of folk-influenced rock are going to find a lot to like with this one.” Listeners will find Prato’s music both fresh and familiar, appreciating the subtle nods to folk-rock greats of the 70s and 80s within a contemporary context.
