(5th Annual!) Dia De Los Muertos sugar-skull workshop & celebration
We are excited for the return of our very popular (5th Annual!) Dia De Los Muertos sugar-skull worksop event and other cultural activities related to this unique beautiful holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, Mesoamerica, and beyond!
This Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) family event is for all ages! Families with young children are encouraged to participate. Join us Saturday, October 28th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM as we decorate traditional sugar skulls, discuss the holiday’s origins and cultural significance worldwide, sample traditional snacks from Mexico=, and of course, the traditional Pan De Muerto pasty to complete your Day of the Dead experience at PBLS.
There’s more! You and your family members will learn songs and traditional stories (read-a-load) in Spanish and English about this fun and meaningful holiday. The event will be held at Penobscot Bay Language School’s 28 Gay Street, Rockland, ME location. Reserve your seats today!
