Augusta Symphony Orchestra Plans Holiday Concert
The Augusta Symphony Orchestra will present its annual Holiday Concert on December 17 at 6:00 pm at South Parish Church, 9 Church St in Augusta.
The concert will open with Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante for Four Winds in E-flat major. Following intermission, the ASO will perform selections from Handel’s Messiah, as well as holiday favorites by Leroy Anderson. For more information, please visit the ASO website at augustasymphonymaine.org.
The ASO has been sharing great classic and modern works of symphonic music within the central Maine region for decades. Now in its 103rd season, the symphony is under the guidance of Music Director and Conductor Jinwook Park. An accomplished violinist, Mr. Park teaches at Colby College as well as directing the Colby College Symphony.
