Maine Master Naturalist course in Washington County

Maine Master Naturalist course in Washington County

The Maine Master Naturalist course trains Mainers to be volunteer nature educators. Graduates go on to teach for organizations throughout the state. A rigorous year-long course covers all aspects of Maine's natural history, with classes generally occurring on one Wednesday classroom evening and one Saturday field day every month. Since 2011, the course has been held in a different county every year. 2022 will be the first time the course has been held in Washington County. See the program website for more details and the online application. The application deadline is Nov. 15.
