Plant Walk and Wild Food Tasting

Plant Walk and Wild Food Tasting
Join forager and wild food cook, Rachel Alexandrou on Sunday, August 17th for an educational walk on how to safely identify and cook with wild edible plants. The walk will last 2 hours and will end in a sampling of foraged refreshments and recommendations of Rachel's favorite foraging books. Bring a notebook and writing utensil, sturdy shoes, and a water bottle. This walk is great for beginners to foraging, or plant lovers interested in learning about how to incorporate wild plants in the kitchen.
Space is limited. Please register here to reserve your spot.
We will meet at the Ash Point Preserve trailhead/parking area in Owls Head at 10:30am.
