Resilient Coders Maine Bootcamp Launch Event

Resilient Coders Maine Bootcamp Launch Event
Through a grant from the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), the Maine Immigrants' Rights Coalition (MIRC) has partnered with Boston-based Resilient Coders, IntWork, The Delmar Group, and Blueprint Maine to launch our pilot to launch our pilot project: “Pathways to Software Engineering”. This collaborative effort will train historically marginalized racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse youth across Southern Maine for careers as software engineers. This fall, a cohort of diverse youth will learn to code, for free, with a stipend.
On May 13th from 5:45PM - 8PM at Roux Institute's Amphitheater, the project partners will convene local tech leaders interested in hiring from this upcoming student cohort. At this event, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the training organizers, learn about the program and specific technical/ non-technical aptitudes being taught, and ask questions.
Whether you’re interested in hiring, learning to code, or finding another way to support, all are welcome!
