Bluegrass heroes Stillhouse Junkies are on the forefront of breaking through the genre with their free-flowing musical interplay that weaves roots, classical, Texas swing and blues into a high-energy, intricately composed yet expansively improvised tapestry of sound. The trio of close friends Fred Kosak on guitar and mandolin, Cody Tinnin on upright bass, and Alissa Wolf on fiddle are based in the wilderness town of Durango, Colorado. Formed in 2017, the band has released 3 albums, and has new singles due out this year. Their prolific songwriting, 3-part harmonies and outrageous instrumentals saw them bring home the prestigious International Bluegrass Music Award “Momentum Band of the Year” in 2021. They have played dozens of festivals including Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival, Rockygrass, Merle Fest and ROMP and gain new fans everyday.
