The Portland Maine Comedy Festival is the BIGGEST annual comedy event in New England. This year's festival features a whopping FORTY-FIVE shows including standup showcases and sketch and improv comedy, as well as Feature Shows, which feature regional and touring comics headlining the shows. This year, PMCF is proud to include Specialty Showcases which highlight comics from historically underrepresented backgrounds in the comedy world each day of the festival – BIPOC, Female/Female-Identifying, Queer, and Over 50 Years-old.

The Festival takes place at NINE venues all over the city, with most shows happening at – Apres, Definitive Brewing, Hi-Fidelity Brewing and The Hill Arts, Rising Tide Brewing and Three of Strong. Free Street Restaurant is serving as the festival’s “Hub Location” this year – the best place to buy merch, pick up passes, chat with comics, and take in the Festival experience. Show times vary throughout the day, but all showcases are 90 minutes long.
