Urban Garden Tour with FAM

Urban Garden Tour with FAM
All are invited to the third annual Urban Garden Tour in Bangor and Brewer on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025. With thirteen in-town gardens available to tour on that day, the tour is free and all in the area are encouraged to participate. The Garden Tour is intended to encourage everyone to “grow your own,” no matter how much or little land they have available. Growing information will be distributed at each garden. In case of heavy rain, the tour will take place on Sunday, August 3rd, with the same schedule.
Six gardens, including vegetables, fruits, herbs and/or flowers, within Bangor, can be toured in the morning, 9 AM-noon. Seven additional gardens are available in the afternoon, 1-4 PM. Gardeners will be available to answer questions and offer resources to newer gardeners. Two workshops are scheduled on the tour. The morning workshop will take place at Abraham Lincoln School at 11:30 that morning, and the afternoon workshop will take place at 3:30 PM at Food AND Medicine, 20 Ivers St. in Brewer.
