Weekend Radio Announcer

Part of the "Weekend Warrior" announcing staff, Jay Peterson is a 30 year veteran of community radio in Minnesota and Maine, and has been with Maine Public Radio since November of 2013. He is also a performing musician who has appeared on A Prairie Home Companion and The Grand Ole Opry. Jay also operates a one-man sign painting shop in Sedgwick, on the Blue Hill Peninsula, and occasionally lectures around the country on the topic of classic country and swing music from the 30s, 40s and 50s.
