2026 Maine State Basketball Championships

Tune in to Maine High School Basketball Championship Weekend!

The weekend of February 27 on the television channels of Maine Public and streaming on mainepublic.org and on the Maine Public App (download it for FREE here!)

It is year 48 of Maine Public’s coverage of the state basketball tournament, and we couldn’t be prouder to carry that tradition on into 2026! Together we witness high school athletes in each class across Maine representing their schools and communities in the most exciting games of their high school athletic careers.

It all starts the weekend of February 27 with coverage on that Friday and Saturday. We will then rebroadcast all Championship Weekend basketball games that Sunday.

All games will be available to stream both LIVE and on-demand on mainepublic.org.
