Maine Needs is a community fueled donation center based in Portland. We are calling on local runners and walkers to join us in supporting the critical need for basic material goods for individuals and families throughout Maine.

There will be two locations on May 24th - Portland & Lewiston. If that’s too far, there’s also a virtual option. Come join us!

Race participants are encouraged to highlight basic needs in whatever creative way they want to! This can be wearing your underwear and bra on the outside of your clothes, wearing funny socks, or whatever you can think of! Guest judges will award prizes for the most creative expression. There will also be food trucks to satisfy for your hunger!

Encourage those cheering you on to bring bottles of tick spray, sunblock, deodorant and bars of soap for us to fill Summer requests!

This race is NOT timed. All are welcome whether they walk or run or come with strollers! Suitable for the entire family.

In order to receive a t-shirt, registration must be completed by May 1st, 2025.

Virtual Walk participants will NOT receive a t-shirt. Virtual Walk participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a Maine Needs Sea Bag!
