The second annual Portland Poetry Festival, held at the Odd Fellows Hall above Back Cove Books, is a day-long celebration of Maine poets and their work, this year focused on three specific subjects: work, war and joy. Of the sixteen poets featured, three are current or former poet laureates: Betsy Sholl, Maya Williams and Julia Bouwsma. There will be an open mic from 5:15 to 6. Admission is free.
