Learn the art of cheese making from Jean Koons, from Kennebec Cheesery in this evening workshop!
This workshop will begin with an introduction to the history of cheesemaking, dairy cultures, and sanitation practices. Jean will then talk through the process of making yoghurt and cheeses while attendees participate in making both goat and cow milk ricotta, queso rexo (buttermilk cheese), and mozzarella. Participants will be able to taste the cheese they’ve co-created during this workshop, and snacks will be provided.

Join Owlbear staff member Kass to play a game that can be completed in one session. Thursdays: The Teach Series! Happy Trolleyween at Seashore! To celebrate the last three days of our regular operating season at the Seashore Trolley Museum, celebrate Trolleyween at Seashore on Friday, October 24th, Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th during the Museum’s regular hours, 9:30AM-4:30PM. Admission is $12 per person and infants ages 0-2 are free. Members are 50% off–check your inbox for the discount code as the event gets closer or email events@trolleymuseum.org.
The time of the ticket you purchase is the time your trolley ride departs from the Visitors Center, but please be encouraged to arrive early or stay later to enjoy the activities below and our outdoor campus. The museum is open from 9:30AM-4:30PM.
Trick or Treat! Several candy stations will be set up across the museum’s mostly outdoor campus for guests of all ages to enjoy. Yes, adults can trick or treat too!
Come in Costume! A social media costume contest will take place following each event day for those who would like to enter, for a chance to win prizes!
Ghost Hunt! All guests will have the opportunity to search for lollipop ghosts hidden around the Museum. Lucky guests who find a ghost will be entered into a raffle for a free family membership for the 2026 season! Ghosts will be replenished throughout the event to ensure guests visiting at any time have the opportunity to play.
Photo Scavenger Hunt! A popular Seashore activity is back for a new round of items to search for. Post your photos on the museum’s social media pages for your chance to win a free family membership for the 2026 season.

Unlimited Trolley Rides! Hop on as many trolley rides as you would like during your visit and tour the heritage railway. The last trolley departs at 3:45PM each day.
