Held every Thursday from 4–7pm, the Local Goods Market features hot food, beverages, baked goods, and specialty products from Fork Food Lab members and other Maine makers. The weekly event offers the community a chance to support local businesses, discover new favorites, and connect directly with the entrepreneurs shaping the future of Maine’s food economy. Drawing upon the classic by Lewis Carrol, the peculiar world of Wonderland is brought vividly to life through the art of ballet and a curious cast of beloved characters. Have fun while making a difference! Hike for Hospice is an annual walk with our community to raise awareness and support for Hospice of Southern Maine’s nonprofit mission to provide compassion, care, and comfort through the end of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. There will be music, Holy Donuts, prizes, a kids' scavenger hunt, lawn games, local partner-provided food and beer, and lots of community spirit as we walk the 2.25 or 4.5-mile routes. Together, we can make each step count and raise awareness and funds for hospice care in southern Maine. Children and leashed dogs are welcome!

Happy Trolleyween at Seashore! To celebrate the last three days of our regular operating season at the Seashore Trolley Museum, celebrate Trolleyween at Seashore on Friday, October 24th, Saturday, October 25th and Sunday, October 26th during the Museum’s regular hours, 9:30AM-4:30PM. Admission is $12 per person and infants ages 0-2 are free. Members are 50% off–check your inbox for the discount code as the event gets closer or email events@trolleymuseum.org.

The time of the ticket you purchase is the time your trolley ride departs from the Visitors Center, but please be encouraged to arrive early or stay later to enjoy the activities below and our outdoor campus. The museum is open from 9:30AM-4:30PM.

Trick or Treat! Several candy stations will be set up across the museum’s mostly outdoor campus for guests of all ages to enjoy. Yes, adults can trick or treat too!

Come in Costume! A social media costume contest will take place following each event day for those who would like to enter, for a chance to win prizes!

Ghost Hunt! All guests will have the opportunity to search for lollipop ghosts hidden around the Museum. Lucky guests who find a ghost will be entered into a raffle for a free family membership for the 2026 season! Ghosts will be replenished throughout the event to ensure guests visiting at any time have the opportunity to play.

Photo Scavenger Hunt! A popular Seashore activity is back for a new round of items to search for. Post your photos on the museum’s social media pages for your chance to win a free family membership for the 2026 season.

Saturday Only: Try out our Pump Car! Pump car rides available.

Unlimited Trolley Rides! Hop on as many trolley rides as you would like during your visit and tour the heritage railway. The last trolley departs at 3:45PM each day.

On The Rise : Art Exhibition
Join us for On The Rise. An art exhibit from the 2026 calendar and previous editions currently running until January 2026.

Join us for Maine Craft Weekend Oct 4th & 5th 2025. The Alan Claude Gallery gallery will be open 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. The Lewiston Public Library will be offering drop-in Preschool Playdates from 10:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays* in the Children’s program room.
*(The Library will be closed on Saturday, 8/30 in observance of Labor Day & Saturday, 11/29 in observance of Thanksgiving.)

Drop-in and join us for Preschool Playdates! Preschoolers and their families are invited to stop in during our Preschool Playdates to engage in imaginative play and build friendships. A variety of toys, games, and crafts will be available during all sessions.

The programs will take place in the Children’s Program Room on the 3rd floor.

The programs are free and there is no registration required. All families with children between the ages of 2-6 are welcome to attend. Siblings are also welcome.
