WINDHAM, Maine - Windham-Raymond schools will remain closed for a third day Wednesday after the superintendent and a middle school principal received threatening emails Monday.
RSU 14 Superintendent Sandy Prince says he made the decision after consulting with the Windham Police Department and the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department.
"We're taking this day by day," Prince says, "and that's pretty much what we communicated to the families this afternoon at 4:00 p.m."
Windham-Raymond students were dismissed less than two hours after classes started Monday due to the emails, sent by two different sources with different information. The Maine Computer Crimes Task Force is assisting the investigation.
