The role of poetry in our lives.

Guests:  Richard Blanco, historic inaugural poet, public speaker, teacher and memoirist. His latest books is 'The Prince of los Cocuyos.'

Tony Hoagland, poet and writer. His poetry collection, What Narcissism Means to Me, was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award. Other honors include two grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and a 2000 Guggenheim Fellowship in Poetry. 
 

Betsy Sholl, former poet laureate of Maine. She's published seven collections of poetry, most recently Rough Cradle (Alice James Books, 2009). She teaches at the University of Southern Maine and in the MFA Program of Vermont College.
