The Threat of ISIS - a Maine Perspective

Former Diplomat and U.S. Ambassador to Chad Larry Pope and American University in Cairo professor of international security and conflict management Allison Hodgkins spoke Tuesday with Maine Public Radio's Jennifer Rooks about the threat ISIS poses and why they believe it may not be as great as is often reported:

That was American University of Cairo professor Allison Hodgkins, and before her, former U.S. Ambassador Larry Pope speaking about the the threat of terrorism in the Middle East with Maine Public Radio's Jennifer Rooks.  You can hear their entire conversation by visiting Maine Calling dot net.

Jennifer walked into her college radio station as a 17-year-old freshman and never looked back. Even though she was terrified of the microphone back then — and spoke into it as little as possible — she loved the studio, the atmosphere and, most of all, the people who work in broadcasting. She was hooked. Decades later, she’s back behind the radio microphone hosting Maine Public Radio’s flagship talk program, Maine Calling. She’s not afraid of the mic anymore, but still loves the bright, eclectic people she gets to work with every day.
