Collective memory is loosely defined as “the memory of a group of people, passed from one generation to the next.” We’ll examine what we as a culture remember, and what is forgotten (whether deliberately or not). We’ll also discuss what becomes part of our shared cultural narrative, and how does our narration of those stories affect what we remember?
