Best-selling author Anita Shreve’s new novel, The Stars are Fire, is based in part on the 1947 Great Fires of Maine which raged from Bar Harbor to Kittery.  Joining the conversation will be an expert on the 1947 fire from the Maine Historical Society.

Guests: Anita Shreve, acclaimed author of 16 previous novels, including Rescue, A Change in Altitude; Testimony; The Pilot's Wife, which was a selection of Oprah's Book Club; and The Weight of Water.
