With the release of the Senate's health care overhaul proposal, we hear from former NPR health care correspondent Julie Rovner on what's in the bill and how it will affect Americans. We will have call-ins from AARP, American Cancer Society, Maine Medical Association and from a rural hospital in Maine.

Guest:  Julie Rovner is the Kaiser Health News (KHN) Robin Toner Distinguished Fellow and Chief Washington Correspondent. She joined KHN after 16 years as health policy correspondent for NPR, where she helped lead the network’s coverage of the passage and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. A noted expert on health policy issues, Julie is the author of the critically praised reference book Health Care Politics and Policy A-Z, now in its third edition.

Lori Parham, Maine State Director, AARP.

Gordon Smith, Executive Vice President of the Maine Medical Association.

Tarren Bragdon, C.E.O. of the Foundation for Government Accountability.  Tarren is a former Maine State Legislator and former CEO of the Maine Heritage Policy Center.

Kirsten Sloan, Vice President for Policy with the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network.

Art Blank, President and CEO of the Mt. Dessert Island Hospital.
