The National Alliance for Caregiving estimates that 43.5 million Americans have provided unpaid care to an adult or child in the last 12 months, some of them facing serious challenges in doing so. In Maine alone, there are 178,000 family caregivers. November is National Caregiver Month, and we'll discuss the existing challenges as well as some of the resources that are available to help family caregivers.
