An Evening with Maine Authors VI
An Evening with Maine Authors Returns! Join us for an evening of Cocktails, Dinner and an Author Reading Friday, August 12, 2022 from 5-9 PM
The evening will begin with a cocktail hour in the cozy Queen Post barn and screen porch and segue to a sumptuous buffet dinner in the Maine Concert Hall at Stone Mountain Arts Center. After dinner, a former CSC camper will share reflections about their camp experience followed by the evening’s feature presentation of readings by Richard Russo.
Pulitzer Prize-winner for Empire Falls, Richard Russo is a master of rich characters and pitch-perfect descriptions of small-town America. His latest novel is Chances Are... He is the author of eight novels, two collections of stories; and the memoir Elsewhere. His novels Empire Falls and Nobody’s Fool were adapted to film, in a multiple-award-winning HBO miniseries; in 2016 he was given the Indie Champion Award by the American Booksellers Association.
