The Acadia Dance Festival brings Nimbus Dance to Mount Desert Island February 22, with performances at the Criterion Theatre and a Master Class at Artwaves. Known for highly-physical performances that lead audiences through emotional and visual journeys, Nimbus Dance presents Artistic Director Samuel Pott’s iconic work Patch of Turf, and audience favorite The After Party, set to the music of jazz vocalists Nina Simone and Nancy Wilson, along with other repertory performed by the company’s acclaimed professional dancers.
