Paris, Maine Founder’s Day Classic Car Exhibit
The 47th annual Founder’s Day to support the Hamlin Library and Museum in Paris, Maine will be held Saturday July 18, 2026.
Hamlin Memorial Library welcomes the public to a one-day viewing of the private collection of the Bahre family. Among this collection of more than 60 vehicles, is one of the finest Packard collections in the world, including the Clark Gable LeBaron Speedster, the 1934 ‘Car of the Dome’ Dietrich Sport Sedan, the front-wheel-drive prototype sedan, as well as 7 other V-windshield customs, along with antique dolls, horse-drawn carriages, musical instruments, and antique toys.
The day’s events also include a craft fair, live music and refreshments held on the Green in Paris Hill, where visitors are surrounded by some of Western Maine’s most beautiful mountain scenery and historic architecture. Admission into the car collection is $15 for adults, $2 for children under 12, to benefit Hamlin Memorial Library and Museum, Paris, ME. This is a rain or shine event, and is from 9AM – 5PM.
