A long awaited return of this cult classic. On a stormy night, the newly engaged Brad and Janet find themselves out of gas and on the doorstep of one Dr Frank-N-Furter. They could never imagine the night in store, with a cast of creepily alluring characters who will test their boundaries, take their innocence and teach them to do The Time Warp.
Shakespeare returns to Stonington from June 19-29 with a joyous production of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” directed by Opera House Arts’ Artistic Director Kathryn Markey. In this beloved comedy, two young couples run away to the mysterious realm of the Fairies. When the trickster Puck enchants them with a magical flower, love stories get muddled, jealousies arise, and a rustic band of amateur actors manages to perform an unforgettable play within the play, proving “what fools these mortals be…” A treat for the whole family, “Midsummer” will feature a fantastical design and a cast of ten.
