The board of Brunswick-based Mid Coast-Parkview Health has voted to join MaineHealth.Mid Coast-Parkview - which includes a 93-bed hospital, several medical offices, and home health care - has been clinically affiliated with MaineHealth for more than 25 years.
According to a press release, full integration is needed in to create efficiencies and ensure affordable health care in the region.
The decision requires further review and state and regulatory approval.
