The end of the school year is a busy time for graduating seniors. For one 12th grader at Buckfield High School, Noah Smith, these months have been full of much else as well.
Noah is a clarinetist who has been performing up a storm and bringing home top prizes at music competitions right across Maine since the start of the year. Among his honors was winning the Maine High School Concerto Competition hosted by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra – culminating in performances earlier in May. He joins us on State of the Art to talk about this exciting stretch of time and what’s ahead for him after graduation as one of Maine’s top young musicians.
