From February 2nd to February 14th, create a Valentine’s Day card at the Lewiston Public Library! Free supplies and crafting space will be available for adults on the 2nd floor and for children on the 3rd floor.

Mondays, January 12th, 19th, and 26th, 1 PM - 4 PM in the Kaleidoscope Studio at ArtWaves community arts center in Bar Harbor.
Join us for an intro/ intermediate impressionist landscape painting series.
Painting will be done on a 16x20" canvas board with acrylic paints of a sunrise view from the top of Cadillac Mountain.
We will work with BIG and GESTURAL strokes focusing on color relationships unique to Mount Desert Island. All materials and instructions provided.
Every first Monday of the month, LPL will be hosting a maker meet up. Drop in at any time during the two and a half hour meet up with your current DIY project to craft alongside your fellow makers.
Ages 18 and up. Beginners welcome.

Celebrating its 5th year, Sounds by the Sea began in 2021 to foster community and enjoyment of live music in our cherished park. This free, family-oriented six-week summer concert series occurs on Mondays at 6:00 pm, starting after Independence Day. Concerts rotate between the Bandstand and the Picnic Shelter, made possible by the generous support of local business sponsors.

Join the Lewiston Public Library for Baby Storytime in-person in the Children’s Department weekly on Tuesdays from 10:15am to 11:15am.
Recommended for children ages 0 – 3 years old and their caregivers.
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your baby that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, rhymes and body movement. Play and social time immediately follow the program.
This program is free, open to the public, and no registration is required. Siblings are always welcome.
