This is a free screening at Portland Museum of Art on December 5th, commemorating World AIDS Day on , co-presented with EQME, MaineTransNet, and Equality Community Center. The Underground Lounge will host Maine native songwriter Louisa Stancioff on Friday, December 5th. Louisa Stancioff has become an esteemed local sensation with her catchy indie sound that draws on folk, rock, pop, and her own Balkan heritage. This performance marks Stancioff’s fourth Underground Lounge performance, offering audiences the opportunity to enjoy an intimate, personal show.
The Underground Lounge continues its tradition of supporting homegrown talent and bringing quality live music to Belfast during the long Maine off-season. Doors open at 6:30pm and music begins promptly at 7:00pm. Food and drink will be available by donation.

The Yuletide Magic Marketplace is St. Paul's 89th annual Christmas Fair. Come experience the magic! Shoppers will enjoy delicious baked goods and candy, crafts, a classic country store, a jewelry and unique small treasures shop, beautiful Christmas decor, tableware and tree decorations, lovely hand knit and stitched items, and a silent auction featuring gift baskets, gift certificates from area merchants and many interesting services. New this year, for shoppers listening pleasure, Sounds of the Season musical entertainment will be provided. The Yuletide Cafe will be serving coffee and doughnuts, delicious soups, chowders, breads, other menu selections and yummy desserts. There will be a craft room for young shoppers to make a decoration to bring home. ALL proceeds from the fair go to area nonprofits (2024 donations were over $21,000).
